Corporate Social Responsibility Governance Structure

For the proper performance of corporate social responsibility, BOK has established the "Corporate Social Responsibility Committee". The Chairman of the Board acts as the Director-General of the committee and the President acts as the Deputy Director-General. The Vice President acts as the Supervisor and the function heads of the corporate headquarters are members of the committee. There is a "CSR Compilation Team" under the committee. The Executive Administration Department is the Secretariat and is responsible for administering the "CSR Compilation Team". The committee consists of the following functional groups:

  1. The "Corporate Governance" Group: led by the Business Management Department for the advocacy and pursuit of corporate governance.
  2. The "Customer Concern" Group: led by the Compliance Department for the advocacy and pursuit of matters related to customer concerns.
  3. "Employee Care" Group: led by the Human Resources Department for the advocacy and pursuit of matters related to human rights and employee care.
  4. "Sustainability" Group: led by the Executive Administration Department for the advocacy and pursuit of energy saving and carbon reduction, environmental protection and the sustainability of resources and energy.
  5. "Social Charity" Group: led by the Executive Administration Department for the advocacy and pursuit of social charity and concern, community development, support of art and cultural activities and sports.

Each Group shall perform their assigned duties and keep track of the result within the scope of corporate social responsibility, and compile the results into the "Corporate Social Responsibility Report" at the end of each year to report to the Board.
